‘Flatliners’ Brings Us To The Afterlife And Back In This New Trailer

Are you ready to experience the afterlife unlike ever before? The characters of Flatliners are absolutely ready to by testing the boundaries of death and the afterlife as seen in this new trailer:

Flatliners is the sequel to the 1990 film of the same name that follows the story of five medical students who want to discover what the afterlife is like by essentially killing themselves and reviving within a minute. As the team begins to push the length of death further and further back, they begin to be haunted by various visions and other supernatural events.

The team of medical students is played by Ellen Page (Inception, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Diego Luna (Rogue One, Elysium), Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising), Nina Dobrev (The Perks of Being Wallflower, xXx: Return of Xander Cage), and James Norton (Happy Valley, War & Peace). Kiefer Sutherland, who played one of the original members of the medical team, reprises his role in the film.

The film is being directed by Niels Arden Oplev, who directed the successful Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The film has a screenplay by Ben Ripley (Source Code) and a story by Peter Filardi (The Craft)Flatliners will be entering theaters September 29.
