Recent photos of the filming of James Gunn’s Superman: Man of Tomorrow in Atlanta have shown Superman dawning a new suit. Superman: Man of Tomorrow is the follow up to Superman (2025), which starred David Corenswet as the Kryptonian superhero. According to Collider, the new suit features a tighter look as well as a stretched logo of “S” that Superman wears in his chest. Not is his suit getting a different design but photos also show Corenswet has grown out his hair that’s reminiscent of the style Superman had for a brief comic run after his death by the hands of Doomsday.
Other photos show Nicholas Holt returning as Lex Luthor. The two can be seen together which hints at Gunn’s previous statement about the plot of the movie. In an interview with Variety, when asked the plot of the movie, Gunn replied, “At its core, it’s about Clark and Lex. I relate to both of them. I relate to Lex’s ambition and obsession — minus the murder. And I relate to Superman’s belief in people, his Midwestern values. They’re two sides of me.”
No other information for the movie has been confirmed for now. The movie is still set to release next year on July 9th.
