Cole Sprouse, one of the twins from Disney Channel’s breakout show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, is currently in talks for his first ever movie as an adult, Hollywood Reporter says. His identical brother Dylan Sprouse also recently starred in the dark movie Dismissed.
Cole, who played alongside his brother for years, is now working on developing his own individual career. He can most recently be seen on the CW’s Riverdale.
In this new project, he would be starring in a script that centers around a couple in the midst of sickness. They develop a romantic connection, all the while knowing that it could potentially end in one of their deaths. However, it is meant not to dwell in misery but to show the importance of love in one’s life, especially in the most difficult stages.
It looks like he will be working with another CW actor: Jane the Virgin star, Justin Baldoni, who is poised to direct the film. Produced by Cathy Schulman, known for her Oscar-level work on Crash, Five Feet Apart is set to begin filming in the spring.
