20th Century Studios Releases New Special Look at ‘The King’s Man’

A special look into 20th Century Studios’ The King’s Man was released just yesterday as the studio is finally preparing to release the latest installment in the Kingsman franchise after enduring several release date changes due to the pandemic. Set during World War I, The King’s Man is a prequel to the first two Kingsman movies that explores the origins of the secret spy organization.

The film will arrive in theaters on December 22nd later this year. The new look reveals some footage from The King’s Man as well as featured interviews with the cast and crew about the making of the film and how it presents the foundation of the organization.

Director Matthew Vaughn told ComicBook.com in 2019 that, “We will in some ways discover why manners maketh man. We’ll discover why one of my favorite lines in the new film is ‘reputation is what people think you are, character is who you are.’ It’s got a lot of what I’ll call home truths for our modern society that would be good to remember.”

Vaughn will again direct the latest installment from a script he co-wrote with Karl Gajdusek. Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, the pair who created the original comic book and inspiration for the movie franchise, will join the crew as executive producers. The film also stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Bruhl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

Be sure to check out the special trailer below and watch The King’s Man on December 22nd!
