Filmmaker Zack Snyder continues to be consistent showman. As filming on Snyder’s latest DC Comics spectacle Justice League nears its conclusion, the Man of Steel director took to Twitter to show off some of the film’s action – both behind the scenes and in more palatable, polished form. The jury may still be out (or unfavorably decided depending) on whether Snyder and distributor Warner Bros. actually have a steady hand in presenting the comics staple for the big-screen, but as a stylist, technician and promoter, Snyder certainly shows off impressive skills.
Full of combat, green screen and behind-the-scenes training, this nearly 90-second featurette takes a look at the work being put into Justice League. The upcoming movie will bring together the DC superheroes, Avengers-like, featuring titans of the pages Batman (played, again by Ben Affleck), Superman (a returning Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot, who will star in her standalone feature before Justice League hits screens) and offers proper cinematic introduction to The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Justice League finishing shooting in the United Kingdom this past week and will soon move to Iceland.
Snyder wrapped his sizzle reel with a shout-out to his crew – “I just want to say a quick thanks to my cast and crew, and thank you U.K. It’s been amazing.” Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
