Vince, E, Turtle, Drama, and Ari are all back in the new action-packed trailer for the Entourage movie. For those unfamiliar with the HBO series, the story follows actor Vincent Chase, played by Adrian Grenier, and his entourage made up of his brother (Kevin Dillon), his two best friends, E (Kevin Connolly) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrera), and his agent, Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). After a series of risky film ventures chronicled in the television show – Queens Boulevard, Medellin, Ferrari – Vince is ready to take his biggest risk yet: to direct and star in Hyde, a film about a DJ with superhero-like powers.
Doug Ellin, the writer and sometimes director for the series, has also returned to write and helm the film adaptation. As the trailer reveals, the characters will make their comeback in the same flashy Hollywood style, showing the film industry as a high-risk, high-reward action-film environment where the immediate threats are multi-million dollar budgets and dangerous egos.
One of the biggest takeaways from the trailer is the ticker tape roll-out of movie star cameos. These include show co-creator Mark Wahlberg, series regular Andrew Dice Clay, Vince’s former co-star in the fictional Head On, Jessica Alba, as well as newcomers Liam Neeson, DJ Calvin Harris, NFL Quarterbacks Tom Brady and Russell Wilson, MMA fighter Ronda Rousey, Gone Girl breakout Emily Ratajkowski, Warren Buffett, George Takei, Pharrell, and many more.
Entourage is slated to hit theaters June 5. See the new trailer below, and check out the first teaser trailer here.
