Trailer for Animated Adaptation of ‘Batman: Hush’ is Released

An animated adaptation of the comic book story arc about Batman fighting the villain Hush was announced sometime last year. The film like the comic is titled Batman: Hush. Now a trailer for the film has been released and can be viewed below. The trailer shows off a scene in which Batman must fight against a brainwashed Superman, which was from the original comic. Other scenes include Catwoman trying to flirt with Batman, a confrontation with Poison Ivy, and a couple shots of the mysterious villain Hush.

voice cast for Batman: Hush has been revealed. Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne will be voiced by Jason O’Mara, and Jennifer Morrison will be playing Batman’s love interest and enemy Catwoman also known as Selena Kyle. Other cast members include Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Peyton List as Batgirl, and Stuart Allan as Robin. The titular villain Hush is being voiced by Maury Sterling and the rest Batman’s rogues gallery include Geoffrey Arend as the Riddler, Jason Spisak as the Joker, Adam Gifford as Bane, and Gotham’s Peyton List as Poison Ivy.

It looks like the movie will follow the original comic arc’s basic story, but of course some elements will inevitably change in the move to the screen.
