‘The Secret: Dare To Dream’ Trailer Drops, Starring Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas

Based on Rhonda Byrne’s 2006 global bestselling self-help book, The Secret: Dare To Dream is romantic drama, starring Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas. Directed by Andy Tennant, the film’s trailer has been released by Roadside Attractions and is expected to hit theaters on April 17, 2o20.

Tennant is known for helming the projects Sweet Home Alabama and Hitch. He also adapted the book alongside Bekah Brunstetter and Rich Parks, which previously sold over 34 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 languages, giving rise to several sequels and a 2007 documentary.

The Secret became a global phenomenon for empowering millions of readers to lead happier and fulfilling lives. The trailer seems to reflect that positive insightful message through the family devotion and loving relationship between two unexpected individuals. In the film, Holmes stars as the hardworking widow Miranda Wells, who struggles to raise three children on her own. She wounds up in a minor car accident when Lucas’ mysterious character, Bray Johnson, offers to repair her car and help the family out. A powerful storm in Louisiana brings on new challenges onto the characters but in just a short amount of days, Bray’s presence reignites the family spirit. However, he carries a secret that could change the course of fate for the new people in his life forever.
