‘The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part’ Second Trailer Lands Before Brick Friday

A couple days before Thanksgiving everything looked bleak, but then the second trailer for The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part arrived, and now everything is awesome again. Warner Bros. has dropped new trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel to 2014’s surprise box office juggernaut and cultural phenomenon, showcasing the voice talents of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Tiffany Haddish, Will Arnett, Stephanie Beatriz, Charlie Day, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman, and Maya Rudolph.

Directed by Mike Mitchell from a screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Michelle Morgan, and Dominic Russo, The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city from LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space. The second trailer puts a spotlight on new characters, including Rex Dangervest (an amalgamation of Chris Pratt’s other famous film characters, also voiced by Pratt), Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi (Haddish), and General Sweet Mayhem (Beatriz).

YouTube and Warner Bros. Pictures have also announced an awesome alternative to the post-Thanksgiving Black Friday mayhem with a special, one-day-only offer nicknamed Brick Friday. For the first time in its history, YouTube will present a full-length movie within an ad. For 24 hours on Friday, November 23, the day after Turkey Day, anyone checking out the trailer for the upcoming sequel The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part can view a full-length presentation of the original The LEGO Movie. Once Friday rolls around simply enter the YouTube search keywords “Brick Friday” and select the promoted video for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part at the top of the search results.
