‘The Batman’ Makes Over $750M Only Days Ahead Of Its Release on HBO Max

Anyone that’s been following the success of director Matt Reeves’ rendition of a classic character, The Batman, will know that the film has been a smashing success in the US Box Office. In fact, it’s been so successful that the movie is now the third highest grossing Batman movie ever, only just being beat by The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).

The Robert Pattinson film has been in theaters for over a month now. This means it’s about that time when it will get its chance to debut on a streaming platform – and this case that will be on HBO Max.

The Batman celebrated an opening weekend of $134 million. About 40 days later the movie has accumulated $750 million worldwide. Warner Brothers’ President of Domestic Distribution, Jeff Goldstein, and President of International Distribution, Andrew Cripps, both congratulated everyone involved in the project for hitting such a grand monetary landmark.

If it was ever in doubt, the numbers certainly show the film is celebrating international success along with the excitement it’s created amongst American fans.

You can catch The Batman on HBO Max starting tomorrow,  April 18, or tune into HBO live at 8 PM ET on April 23 to watch.
