Marvel’s much-anticipated movie Thor: Love and Thunder have finally released its trailer. The film reveals the future for Thor, and it brings back Natalie Portman’s character as someone more powerful than ever.

The two-minute-long trailer begins with “Sweet Child O’Mine” by Guns N’ Roses and shows Thor running through his childhood, questioning his existence, and getting back into amazing shape. The latest Marvel feature will also include the Guardians of the Galaxy and, hilariously enough, will highlight the strained relationship between Thor and Star-Lord (Chris Pratt).

The fourth and final installment of the Thor series is set to be directed by Taiki Waititi, who helmed the franchise well-received Thor: Ragnarok. The movie follows directly after Avengers: Endgame, which ended with Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth) leaving the galaxy with the Guardians. The trailer reveals Thor’s quest for self-discovery, “These hands were once used for battle, now they’re but humble tools for peace,” he says as he puts aside his new hammer, Stormbreaker, and watches an intergalactic sunset. “Now, I need to figure out exactly who I am.”

While the trailer does not reveal the villain, it is sure to show some action, as during the trailer, we see Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie as the new ruler of Asgard, a lightning bolt wielding Russell Crowe as the Greek God Zeus, and even Natalie Portman’s character wielding Thor’s hammer, the Mjolnir, right as the trailer ends.

Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere on July 8th.
