Paramount started out this year’s Super Bowl on a high note with one of the first trailer premieres of the game: Top Gun Maverick. The sequel to the Tom Cruise lead 80s classic seems more intense just from this new Big Game Spot alone.
The ad deals with Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell (Cruise), training for what looks like to be his most intense mission yet. While footage of him flying and training play out, we hear dialogue of how he can accomplish this mission and what he’s up against. This time it’s much more dangerous than anything he has dealt with before.
For as short as the trailer is, it seemingly promises a much bigger film than the first Top Gun everything was. Maverick certainly seems like one of the big films to look out for in what looks to be like a promising summer.
