Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum Try to Escape from Bad Guy Daniel Radcliffe While Running Through a Jungle in ‘The Lost City’ Official Trailer

The first trailer to Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum’s new romance action-adventure comedy The Lost City, previously titled The Lost City of D, is out. It is most definitely a romance novel that came to life.

The official synopsis: “Brilliant but reclusive author Loretta Sage (Bullock) has spent her career writing about exotic locations in her bestselling romance-adventure novels with attractive cover model Alan (Tatum), who has committed his life to emulate the hero character, ‘Dash.’ Loretta is abducted while on tour promoting her new book with Alan by an eccentric millionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who believes she can guide him to the old lost city’s wealth from her current narrative. Alan sets out to save her, wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life as well as on the pages of her novels. Thrown into an epic jungle adventure, the odd team must work together to endure the elements and recover the ancient treasure before it is lost forever.”

Brothers Adam and Aaron Nee directed He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for Netflix. However, they are best known for their 2015 comedy-adventure Band of Robbers, a modern-day retelling of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, who have now grown into men still searching for the hidden treasure.

Patti Harrison (Together Together), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (High Fidelity), and Oscar Nunez (The Office), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live) are also starring in the film. Even Brad Pitt makes an appearance.

The Lost City will hit theaters on March 25, 2022. Check out the fun trailer below!
