Legendary Actor Bruce Willis Steps Back From Acting After Being Diagnosed With Aphasia

Whether knowingly watching his films or not, most people know the name, Bruce Willis. The German-born American Actor has had a career spanning decades buzzing all around the glowing center of the entertainment world. Today, however, the world has been reminded that those pop culture icons who seem untouchable, are getting older every day like the rest of us.

Earlier today Willis’ Ex-Wife, actress Demi Moore, took to her 2.8 million Instagram followers to inform Willis’ fans and supporters that the Die Hard actor has been recently diagnosed with Aphasia, a disease that affects the cerebral function of a person.

As a result, Willis has made the careful decision to “step away”, as Moore puts it, from his acting career.

Hearts are breaking all over the world on behalf of Willis and his family. Willis is a father of five girls with Moore and his current spouse Emma Heming Willis, the eldest being 33 and the youngest 7 years old.

His work in Die Hard, The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, and more have brought countless hours of enjoyment to viewers everywhere. Hollywood will certainly be feeling the absence of Willis as he works through his illness with help of his tight-knit family.
