Kaley Cuoco To Produce and Star in Thriller ‘Role Play’

Kaley Cuoco is said to be in talks to produce and star in the upcoming action thriller Role Play, written by Seth Owen. She will be producing with Studiocanal and The Picture Company. The film follows a young married couple whose marriage and life fall apart after they discover secrets about each other’s past.

Seth Owen also wrote the 2015 Ridley Scott produced sci-fi thriller Morgan. According to Deadline, The Picture Company partners Alex Heineman and Andrew Rona will produce Role Play, while Brillstien Partners’ George Heller will be exec producer. Ron Halpern, Shana Eddy and Rachel Henochsberg will oversee for Studiocanal.

Along with her hit HBO series Flight Attendent, Cuoco is also set to star alongside Pete Davidson in the romantic comedy Meet Cute. She will also be seen in Sony’s comedy film The Man From Toronto with Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson, which is set to be in theaters January 14th. Her series The Flight Attendant debuted on Thanksgiving 2020 and has been renewed for a second season. Cuoco received multiple nominations from the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

There is no director attached to the film as of late, but more information is to arrive soon.

Melissa Cusano: I love to escape reality with reading, writing, movies, and music! If I'm not working I love to go to concerts (pre-covid), play video games, and hang out with my dog Ozzi.
