Do You Take This Man looks to illustrate the difficulties that many couples can face in love and marriage, as shown by the new trailer by Breaking Glass Pictures.
Anthony Rapp (A Beautiful Mind, Rent) and Jonathan Bennett (Van Wilder: Freshman Year, Mean Girls) star as Daniel and Christopher, the couple at the center of the film. As unexpected circumstances cause the couple to fight, the friend group that surrounds them helps them to realize there is more to love and that fighting is a completely normal piece at times. The friend group consists of Rachael, played by Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother), Bradley, played by Thomas Dekker (A Nightmare On Elm Street [2010]), and Jacob, played by Mackenzie Astin (In Love and War).
The film is being directed and written by Joshua Tunick, who will be tackling his first full-length non-documentary film with Do You Take This Man. The film is being produced by Tunick, Eric Kops, and Dave Perkal, with Krista Giovara as executive producer. Breaking Glass Pictures is the distributor of the film, and has given us release dates for the film. Do You Take This Man will enter theaters with limited release on July 7th, with the DVD/VOD release just four days after on July 11th.
