A24 Snaps Up U.S. Rights to ‘Morris From America’

Fresh off its Oscar success with nominations for Lenny Abrahamson’s Room and Asif Kapadia’s Amy Winehouse documentary Amy, A24 has acquired the U.S. rights to Morris From America, according to Deadline.

The film premiered Friday in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival. Carla Juri, Lina Keller, Jakub Gierszal, Levin Henning, Patrick Güldenberg, and Eva Löbau round out the cast.

Morris from America is produced by Martin Heisler, Sara Murphy, Adele Romanski and Gabriele Simon. Michael B. Clark and Alex Turtletaub of Beachside are executive producers.
