8 Year Old Actress Brooklynn Prince Takes Command of the Director’s Chair in Upcoming Short Film

Many times during the 2019 Golden Globes award ceremony various celebrities and major Hollywood players expressed their hopes that more women would be able to take on roles behind the camera. Well it seems that their call for more female leaders in Hollywood is about to be answered by eight year old child actress, Brooklynn Prince. Best known for her appearance in The Florida Project, Brooklynn Prince is taking on the role of director for Colours, an upcoming short film.

According to Indiwire, Prince began to dream of becoming a director while working with director Sean Baker on The Florida Project. Now with the help of Sean Baker and Ben Loeb this young woman is making her dream a reality. Prince posted on Instagram an image of herself directing along with her gratitude towards everyone who is helping her on her journey. Currently there is very little information on Colours, but it is known that Prince has already started to work on the project.
