Yahoo Movies! has released the trailer for the new screwball comedy She’s Funny That Way starring Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers), Imogen Poots (That Awkward Moment) and Jennifer Aniston (We’re the Millers). The film is co-written and directed by Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show).
The film follows Arnold, a married play director (Owen Wilson) who’s producers (Forte and Rhys Ifans) force him to cast Izzy, an actress (Poots) who also happens to be the prostitute with whom he is sleeping. Things get increasingly complicated from there as Arnold’s wife (Kathryn Hahn) and Izzy’s therapist (Jennifer Aniston) get involved.
Bogdanovich has been working on this movie since the late 90’s when he was planning on casting Cybil Shepherd (who is also in the movie) and the late John Ritter who passed away before the project could move forward.
The film is set for release April 10, 2015.
