Uncork’d Entertainment has acquired the North American rights to the supernatural horror film Exorcist Vengeance, starring Charles Bronson lookalike, Robert Bronzi.
The film will follow a troubled priest (Bronzi), who is usually called in to do the church’s dirty work. The church tasks him with exorcising a demon that has been torturing a family, but it is up to him to figure out just who in the family is possessed. While investigating the possession, he realizes that the answer lies in his own past. He must confront his own metaphorical demons before he can stop the demon.
The film is directed by the duo of Scott Jeffrey and Rebecca Matthews, who both have worked with Bronzi in the past with their direct-to-video action film The Gardener.
If you’re not familiar with Bronzi, he came into the spotlight in 2017 in From Hell to the Wild West. His reportedly uncanny resemblance to Charles Bronson has kept his career going ever since, usually starring in lower budget direct to video action and horror films. Somehow, he is able to channel Bronson’s steely demeanor while being a force all to himself.
Exorcist Vengeance will be available tomorrow, February 8th, on video on demand and DVD. Check out the trailer below.
