If you missed our coverage earlier this week, you may be wondering why the Motor City looks an awful lot like an Asian metropolis. Well, that’s because the production rented out several blocks of the city to use (as you can see) as a massive set. It’s been re-decked to double as Hong Kong.
The fourth Transformers movies is once again directed by Michael Bay, who re-teams with Pain and Gain star Mark Wahlberg. Also starring are Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, and Kelsey Grammar. Release is planned for June 27th of next year.
