According to a Variety exclusive, the new action thriller Boss Level directed by Joe Carnahan (The A-Team) has cast both relative new-comer Selina Lo and veteran Michelle Yeoh playing supporting roles.
The movie is currently being filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, and big names including Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson, and Ken Jeong have been previously cast in other leading roles. Lo will be working opposite Frank Grillo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) in a leading role.
The premise of the film is that Grillo’s character is trapped within a time loop where he dies every day, and his focus is to learn who is responsible for his death.
Lo is best known for her roles in Scorpion King 3 and the BBC three-part series One Child. She has a background in competitive martial arts as well as acting and modeling.
Yeoh can be seen in the upcoming Warner Brothers film Crazy Rich Asians, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and Tomorrow Never Dies.
