Saoirse Ronan to Reunite with Wes Anderson, Timothée Chalamet in ‘The French Dispatch’

Saoirse Ronan, one of the stars of Wes Anderson’s last live-action film The Grand Budapest Hotel, will be reuniting with the filmmaker for his next project The French Dispatch. Another reunion for the film will be with actor Timothée Chalamet, who she starred with in the Oscar-nominated film Lady Bird and with whom she will soon star alongside once again in Little Women. Ronan dropped the news herself during her press tour for this year’s Mary Queen of Scots.

The French Dispatch will follow a newspaper outpost in 20th-century Paris and will be Anderson’s love letter to journalists. The plot will follow three separate stories and will also include appearances from Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand, as well as Benicio Del Toro and Jeffrey Wright.

Ronan can be seen this holiday season in the aforementioned Mary Queen of Scots and next year in the recently wrapped Greta Gerwig adaptation of Little Women. She also was recently announced to be starring alongside Kate Winslet in the period romance Ammonite.
