Some new information about the upcoming Dungeons and Dragons movie has just been revealed. According to Variety, the character that actor Rege-Jean Page will be playing has been revealed. Page is of course well known for playing the Duke of Hastings Simon Basset in the recent Netflix series adaptation of the Bridgerton book series.
Apparently Page’s character in Dungeons and Dragons is going to be a paladin knight. For those who do not know in the game Dungeons and Dragons paladins are holy knights and are divine spell casters. Many versions of the game require paladins to have lawful good alignments, but this is not always the case. As of right now there are not really any other known details about Page’s character other than his class, but it is safe to assume that the character will have a good alignment. Details like the character’s name have yet to be revealed.
It has been reported that Hugh Grant has been cast as a character named Forge Fletcher, who will be the antagonist in the movie.
Dungeons and Dragons is being directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and will star Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Hugh Grant, and Sophia Lillis.
