Photographs Have Never Been This Deadly in Official Trailer for ‘Polaroid’

Polaroid cameras have made their return to the mainstream solely because of the current trend of reusing and recycling older items. Polaroid looks to prey on that current trend with an extremely creepy trailer for the horror movie.

The film focuses on a old polaroid camera, which is discovered by Bird Fitcher at an antique store that she works at. Whoever has their photo taken, however, will be killed by some mysterious and creepy monster. The characters obviously must find a way to dispel the curse on the camera or suffer terrible deaths.

Fitcher is being played by Kathryn Prescott, known for her TV work on Finding Carter and Skins, and is joined by a slew of actors and actresses, including Javier Botet (The Conjuring 2), Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files), Keenan Tracy (Bates Motel), and Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale).

The film is being directed by Lars Klevberg, who is making his feature film directorial debut with Polaroid. The film is actually an expansion of Klevberg’s 2015 short film of the same name. Blair Butler is the writer for the film and will also be making her feature film writing debut with this film. Polaroid looks to haunt our dreams and theaters on August 25th, giving us a little time to strengthen our resolves and guts.
