The next drama about a family in crisis is coming to theaters this October, and the trailer has officially dropped for your viewing pleasure. What They Had centers around Bridget (Hilary Swank) who returns home to Chicago after her brother Nicky (Michael Shannon) convinces her it’s the right thing to do. Now it’s up to them to take care of their ailing mother (Blythe Danner) in order to make sure she is well taken care of and safe.
It’s a feel-good movie directed by first time writer/director Elizabeth Chomko that is sure to touch the hearts of anyone who has had to care for parents when they can no longer care for themselves.
