The recently released teaser trailer and film clip for Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher, which is receiving high praise at Cannes, makes no laughing matter of the disturbing source material. Tatum shows a glimpse at his ability for showing inner conflict and vulnerability, while Carrell skillfully displays hints of support, manipulation, and madness (“I’m proud of you” is more chilling than comforting). The film opens November 14.
