New Photo Reveals ‘Thor 4’ Connection With ‘Black Panther 2’

Marvel Studios has planned a lot of content for its viewers this year both on the little and the big screen. The fourth installment of the mighty Thor is scheduled to release on July 8 and from the still Marvel News released on its Twitter account fans are in for a few surprises.

The MCU is set to expand this year with a long slate of movies and shows on Disney+. After Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness broke the opening weekend box office record for 2022, it is going to be Chris Hemsworth’s turn to break new ticket sale records. Thor: Love And Thunder is one of the most anticipated movies of the year after the trailer showed the son of Odin parting ways with the Guardians of the Galaxy and going on adventures of his own. A new still released on Twitter this Monday is now showing the big roles that Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie and Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor are going to have in the movie. Nothing too surprising there, as both were already present in previous Thor films. What is surprising in the picture is the presence of the god Bast, played by Akosa Sabet. Bast is one of the gods Wakandans pray to who also happens to be mentioned in Moon Knight. Without a doubt, the photo shows that there will be strong ties between Wakanda and New Asgard in the film.

Not much information can be gathered from one picture alone but what is certain is that director Taika Waititi’s film will certainly show strong female lead roles. Thor: Love And Thunder will release in movie theaters on July 8, 2022.
