Ke Huy Quan And Sandra Oh To Be Honored At The Golden House Gala

Ke Huy Quan — the Everything Everywhere All at Once Academy Award winning actor — and actor-producer Sandra Oh will receive awards at the second annual Gold House Gala in May. Quan will receive the Leading Man Award and Oh the SeeHer Award.

This second award is a recognition for artists who push the boundaries in front and behind the camera, including people who seek gender equality and defy stereotypes. This year there is also a new award being given: The New Gold Award. This will be received by  “Mrs. Marvel” Iman Vellani.

The Gold House Gala is an event that seeks to honor and celebrate Asian and Pacific Islanders who excel in culture and society. The event will take place at the Jerry Moss Plaza at the Music Center in Los Angeles. Bing Chen (CEO) and Jeremy Tran (COO) of Gold House stated:

“The Gold Gala is a definitive convening, climax, and reset for the Asian Pacific community: celebrating our most indelible achievements of the last year and heralding the next wave of the Asian Pacific movement. Just as we first honored Michelle Yeoh and the ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ team ahead of their history-making run at the inaugural Gold Gala last year, so, too, will we be honoring and launching the individuals and initiatives that will define the next 12 months across industries on May 6th.”

Others that will be honored in the event include Bela Bajaria (Netflix’s chief of content), Geena Rocero (Trans rights activist), and Rhadika Jones (Editor in Chief at Vanity Fair).

Everything Everywhere All at Once’ cast and creators will also be honored with the Gold Icon Award. Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Harry Shum Jr., and producer Jonathan Wang will be present to receive the prize.
