Justin Hartley Joins Rebel Wilson in Paramount Players’ High School Comedy ‘Senior Year’

Rebel Wilson will be joined by Justin Hartley (This Is Us), Angourie Rice (Every Day), Sam Richardson (Hooking Up), Zoë Chao (The High Note), Mary Holland (Happiest Season), and Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty) in the high school comedy Senior Year from Paramount Players, with Award-winning director of film and television Alex Hardcastle directing.

Based on an idea from Andrew Knauer (Ghost Team One) and Arthur Pielli (Ghost Team One), Brandon Scott Jones will write the script. The division from Paramount Pictures, Paramount Players, is committed to making hit genre films with exclusive contemporary voices and features.

The plot follows a cheerleader who wakes up after a 20-year coma and returns to high school to regain her status and claim the prom queen crown that she missed way back when. Hartley is currently filming the drama A Lot of Nothing, about a couple living in a Los Angeles suburb who discovers that the police officer who murdered an unarmed motorist is their next-door neighbor.

Rice is set to reprise her role as Betty Bryant in Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Richardson’s next role will be in Amazon’s The Tomorrow War with Chris Pratt. Chao’s most recent work was starring as Anna Kendrick’s best friend in the HBO Max series Love Life. Holland is currently starring in the TV mini-series The Woman in the House.  Parnell finished filming 20th Century’s remake of Home Alone, about a married couple who try to steal back a precious heirloom from a troublesome kid.

I did attend Long Beach City College for a couple of years, I then transferred to CSULB in 2019. I want to write something outside the normal, something no one would think to write about in a unique way. It also shows how far I am willing to go to produce something amazing that will get more readers interested in the world of Journalism. I am on my way to making a professional life for myself.
