According to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, Two and Half Men star Jon Cryer and American Vandal star Griffin Gluck have officially joined the cast of Jason Orley‘s directorial debut Big Time Adolescence.
The indie film, also penned by Orley, follows Mo (Gluck), and his misguided, college dropout best friend who will be played by Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson. The film is being called a coming-of-age story, and we are excited to see what the plot entails, especially with such a comedic cast.
Cryer will play the father of Mo, and other cast members include Machine Gun Kelly, Sydney Sweeney, Thomas Barbusca, Emily Arlook, and Oona Laurence.
Orley stated the following about his newest cast members: “I could not be more excited about this pairing. Griffin is such an incredible young actor. To have the opportunity to have him play off of such an iconic talent as Cryer will be a lot of fun and make for a hilarious dynamic.”
Will Phelps, Glen Trotiner, Mason Novick, and Jeremy Garelick are set to produce the project, and American High, a recently formed partnership between Garelick and Mickey Liddell’s LD Entertainment that focuses on stories centered around high school comedy, will finance the film.
The film will begin shooting shirty in Syracuse, New York.
