Images of actor and comedian Chris Rock on the set of the upcoming movie Spiral: From The Book of Saw. Empire released the images. The images from the movie’s set reveal Rock as Detective Zeke Banks along with other police officers including a detective played by Max Minghella examining a wall in an alley which has Jigsaw’s infamous spiral symbol painted on it. This movie will be the ninth entry in the Saw film franchise.
It was reported earlier that this new Saw movie will contain humor, but it would not lose the series’ signature gore. However Screen Rant reports that the movie’s director Darren Lynn Bousman has announced this movie will actually be less gory than previous entries in the franchises, and have more comedy.
As mentioned earlier Spiral: From The Book of Saw will star Chris Rock and Max Minghella as police detectives. According to Screen Rant Rock will be playing character called Detective Zeke Banks. The plot of the movie will be about a serial killer, who is presumably Jigsaw, killing police officers and detectives. The trailer that was released last years shows Rock’s character trying to hunt the killer. The movie also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella and Ali Johnson and will be released in May of this year.
