‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Drops Final Trailer Before Its November Release

After theatrical releases for Black Widow, A Quiet Place Part II, and In the Heights, it seems like another initial 2020 release is on the way in 2021. Sony and Columbia pictures have released possibly the final trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

The film is directed by Jason Reitman, son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman. Jason Reitman in his own right has made incredible movies including JunoThank You For Smoking, and Tully. Underrated, but very well made films.

Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd round out the new cast to the franchise, though Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd and Annie Potts are all set to reprise their roles from the original films. Some of the actors even return in this newly released trailer. While the late Harold Ramis is unable to return, the film is set to honor the longtime writer/actor’s legacy.

Over the last year, Ghostbusters:Afterlife as well as many other films have been delayed due to the COVID pandemic, though, after a wide-vaccine layout, it seems these movies are ready for a theatrical release.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is set for a November 11, 2021 release date.
