Full List of 2021 Oscar Nominations Revealed

Today the nominees have finally been revealed for the 2021 Academy Awards. This year has been a strange one, with film qualifications different than ever before, as theaters have been closed in most major cities for the majority of 2021. This did not stop filmmakers from releasing some great works though, or stop movie fans from enjoying films at home.

David Fincher’s Mank is leading the crowd this year, with 10 total nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor in a Leading Role. Nomadland is second in the running with seven noms, followed by a tie of 6 nominations for Minari, Sound of Metal, and The Trial of the Chicago 7.

It was announced that the awards ceremony will be held in multiple locations, utilizing a similar live stream technique that was used at the Golden Globes. Part of the ceremony will be cast from the Dolby Theater, where the awards are typically held. The date is locked in at April 25, 8pm EST/ 5pm PST.
