First Look at ‘Monster Hunter’ Movie Production

Mega Man is not the only Capcom video game franchise that will be getting a film adaptation, because a film based on the Monster Hunter series is already in production. The Monster Hunter games have been extremely popular, and the latest installment in the franchise was released just this January.

According to Screenrant, the movie is going to be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who is known for directing the live action Resident Evil movies. Also, Anderson’s wife, actress Milla Jovovich , who is known for her roles in the Resident Evil films and the Fifth Element, will be starring in the Monster Hunter movie. Jovovich posted photo of herself in makeup on the first day of filming to Instagram. Jovovich will be starring along side Ron Pearlman, T.I. Harris, and Diego Boneta.

Plot details are still under wraps, but it’s clear we can expect more soon as production is now underway.
