Filming of ‘Spider-Man 3’ Will Begin This Month

To say that the COVID-19 pandemic has had an affect on the world would be a severe understatement. The pandemic has impacted everyone’s life, and it has changed pretty much changed every aspect of society. Even the movie industry has been  greatly impacted. Many movies have had their release dates or their productions halted due to complications caused by the Corona virus.

However many movies are still being filmed and produced despite the dangers including the upcoming Batman movie and Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. According to Movie Web Marvel is planning to start filming this new Spider-Man movie this coming week. Filming is supposed to start in New York City, specifically Queens, on October 16th. A post on Twitter revealed the date and time of filming, and that the project is being referred to as Serenity Now, which is a reference to Seinfeld. 

Tom Holland will be reprising his role as the dorky teen hero Spider-Man or Peter Parker, and Zendaya will be returning to play his love interest the girl next door Mary Jane. Other cast members include J. K. Simmons, who is returning to the role of J. Jonah. Jameson, the character he famously played in the Sam Rami Spider-Man trilogy, and Jamie Fox who will be playing the villain Electro, the character he played in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
