Ezra Miller Seeks Mental Health Treatment

Ezra Miller has announced they will seek mental health treatment following a series of crimes. According to a statement given to Variety, Miller’s legal issues were attributed to his “complex mental health issues.” It’s not known how long they’ll be in treatment for.

“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Miller told the outlet. “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”

Miller was arrested earlier this month in Vermont for a felony burglary of alcohol, after homeowners reported missing bottles. In Hawaii, Miller was arrested on two separate occasions for disorderly conduct and harassment. Miller pled no contest to the disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a $500 fine while the harassment charge dropped. Recently they have been accused of grooming an 18 year old for six years with drugs and alleged sexual advancements.

Warner Brothers are considering three different options when it comes to “The Flash,” the upcoming DC film that is important for future plans. The first option would be to see Miller get their counseling and give an interview at some point to discuss their “erratic behavior.” The second option sees “The Flash” released without Miller doing any press at all. Whereas the third option would be to shelf “The Flash” entirely, although it has cost the studio upwards of $200 million.

“We think that we could build a long-term much stronger, sustainable growth business out of DC. And as part of that, we’re going to focus on quality,” Warners new chief David Zaslav offered earlier this month. “We’re not going to release any film before it’s ready. We’re not going to release a film to make a [financial] quarter, we’re not going to release a film [until it’s ready]. The focus is going to be, how do we make each of these films in general as good as possible?”
