Kaley Cuoco (TV’s The Big Bang Theory) is currently in talks to join what was formerly titled Best Man Inc. She will join Josh Gad (Thanks for Sharing) and Kevin Hart (Think Like Man) in the currently untitled project.
The film will star Gad as a friendless, socially awkward engaged man who is in need of a best man for his wedding. Hart plays the owner of a company offering groomsmen for hire. Gad enlists the services of the company for his best man and nine groomsmen. Cuoco will (presumably) play the part of Gad’s self-absorbed fiancee.
The film will be directed by Jeremy Garelick (screenwriter for The Hangover). The script will also be penned by Garelick along with The Break-Up collaborator Jay Lavender. While the plot sounds eerily similar to the popular bromance I Love You, Man, hopefully Garelick and Lavender will keep the dialogue fresh and witty. The result could be a new take on a well know story rather than a redundant addition to the genre.
