Despite the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down Hollywood, the show must go on for director Colin Trevorrow, who recently confirmed that he is editing Jurassic World: Dominion from his home, according to ScreenRant.
The third Jurassic World installment saw production commence in February, but was forced to cease operations after the coronavirus rapidly spread across the U.S. two weeks ago. Jurassic World: Dominion joins other films such as The Batman, The Matrix 4, and Fantastic Beasts 3 as projects put on hold due to the pandemic. With uncertainty piling, future release dates could be on the horizon.
Expected to be the conclusion of the of the Jurassic World franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion will see the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard as their respective characters. However fans will be mostly anticipating the reintroduction of the original cast of Jurassic Park which include Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum. With most plot details currently under wraps, Jurassic World: Dominion is expected to continue the story of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom where dinosaurs enter human society.
