Clowns and Hurricanes are United at Last in ‘Clownado’

Fans of scary clowns and tornadoes will be very interested to hear about the new Wild Eye Releasing coming out this summer. The movie is titled Clownado and its premise is exactly what the title sounds like; evil clowns have harnessed the power of tornadoes and are using them to attack and get revenge on non-clown people. According to IMDb, the plot of the movie follows a stripper, an Elvis impersonator, a truck driver, a teen runaway, and some dude who find themselves caught in the crossfire of the boss of clowns, who is from Hell, and a femme fatal.

For those doubting the existence of this movie, just watch the trailer here, which proves this movie is, in fact, real. Clownado is written and directed by Todd Sheets, who is known for writing and directing horror movies including Ouija Death Trap. The cast of Clownado consists of Eileen Dietz, Rachel Lagen, John O’Hara, Joel D. Wynkoop, and Linnea Quigley.

It sounds like Clownado was inspired by the popularity of the Sharknado franchise and the recent success of It. The Sharknado franchise, which began in 2013, released its final movie last year. It came out in 2017 but its sequel is set to come out in fall this year.

Currently, Clownado does not have an official release date, but it is known that it will come out sometime this summer.
