‘Practical Magic 2’ Lands On Digital Platforms Following Theatrical Run

Warner Bros. Pictures’ fantasy sequel Practical Magic 2 officially launched on digital platforms Tuesday, October 13, 2026, arriving across transactional home entertainment storefronts including Prime Video and Apple TV. The home release enters the market under standard premium video-on-demand (PVOD) windows, carrying price points of $19.99 for a 48-hour rental and $24.99 for digital purchase. Physical 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions—including a limited-edition steelbook release—have been slated for rollout on December 1, 2026.

Directed by Academy Award winner Susanne Bier (In a Better World, Bird Box), the direct follow-up reunites Academy Award winners Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as sister witches Sally and Gillian Owens, picking up nearly three decades after Griffin Dunne’s 1998 cult classic. The ensemble features Joey King and Maisie Williams portraying the next generation of Owens family witches, with Lee Pace starring in a key supporting role. Akiva Goldsman co-wrote the screenplay, drawing narrative elements from Alice Hoffman’s literary universe.

While Warner Bros. has not formally dated the film’s subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) debut, the studio is expected to make the sequel available to stream on HBO Max toward the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
