Brian Epstein Biopic ‘Midas Man’ Found The Beatles in Jonah Lees, Blake Richardson, Leo Harvey Elledge, and Newcomer Campbell Wallace

Brian Epstein biopic Midas Man is picking up speed again after losing its initial director, gaining a new and finally finding its Fab Four.

Jonah Lees (The Letter for the King) will play John Lennon, Blake Richardson (Eleven Days) will play Paul McCartney, Leo Harvey Elledge (Creation Stories) will play George Harrison, and newcomer Campbell Wallace will play Ringo Starr.

Midas Man follows Epstein’s meteoric rise to prominence at the age of 25 by discovering a slew of musicians such as Cilla Black, Gerry and the Pacemakers, and of course, The Beatles. He died in 1967 when he was only 32 from an accidental overdose of sleeping pills with alcohol.

The script is written by Jonathan Wakeham, and based on a story by Brigit Grant.

The biopic also stars Emily Watson, Eddie Marsan, Omari Douglas, Rosie Day, Jay Leno, Lukas Gage, Charley Palmer Rothwell, Adam Lawrence, and Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as Epstein.

Swedish film director Jonas Åkerlund was originally on board to direct, but it was revealed last week that Midas Man is back in pre-production following an indefinite break as producers looked for a new director. The director behind Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, starring Lindsay Lohan, Sara Sugarman, recently joined as director.

Production is hoped to start again at the end of November in Liverpool and then shift to the U.S. early next year.

I did attend Long Beach City College for a couple of years, I then transferred to CSULB in 2019. I want to write something outside the normal, something no one would think to write about in a unique way. It also shows how far I am willing to go to produce something amazing that will get more readers interested in the world of Journalism. I am on my way to making a professional life for myself.
