Ben Affleck Speaks Out About His Worst Experience Filming the ‘Justice League’

Ben Affleck plans to return as Batman in the next upcoming DC comic book movie, The Flash but has already stated that he will no longer play the cape crusader of Gotham. Affleck received the same backlash as Michael Keaton did when news broke out that he would be playing the Dark Knight. Fans considered Affleck’s blockbuster bust Daredevil to his new role as Batman. Critics and fans couldn’t take Ben Affleck seriously as Batman. Especially after fan-favorite Christian Bale’s starred as Gotham’s Dark Knight in three films, so the expectations for Affleck were already high.

Ben Affleck gives intel his experience working with Joss Whedon during his interview with the Herald Sun, the Hindustan Times reported. Affleck said at his interview, “I started drinking too much around the time of Justice League, and it’s a hard thing to confront and face and deal with.” The pressure of the film led Affleck to his old habits.

Affleck’s most recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter goes over his worst experience filming Justice League. “That was a bad experience because of a confluence of things: my own life, my divorce, being away too much, the competing agendas, and then Zack’s personal tragedy and the reshooting. It just was the worst experience. It was awful. It was everything that I didn’t like about this.”
