With election day rapidly approaching, much attention is on Democratic Party nominees Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. In order to garner some last minute support, they have announced a virtual fundraiser tomorrow, October 20, featuring some major guests from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, and the Russo Brothers are all reuniting over video call for the fundraiser event, entitled “Voters Assemble!”
The event will be a live Q&A and trivia event with the actors, hosted by the Russo brothers and Kamala Harris. Marvel fans can donate any amount of money to access the stream, with all donations going to the Joe Biden Victory Fund.
This virtual fundraiser is along the lines of many recent fundraisers hosted by the Democratic Party. Wisconsin Democrats have raised money with a Princess Bride cast script read through and a Parks and Rec cast reunion. The Biden Victory Fund earned some funds earlier this week with Hamilton cast live stream Q&A. Some major stars including Mindy Kaling and Kumail Nanjiani also gathered for last week’s South Asian Block Party, which sold tickers for viewers that contributed to the Biden campaign.
“Voters Assemble!” will take place virtually on October 20 at 6:45 EST.
