‘Atlanta’ Star Lakeith Stanfield Added To ‘Girl in the Spider’s Web’

Recent breakout star Lakeith Stanfeld is taking on the spider’s web in the upcoming sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Stanfeld, who is best known for his role in Donald Glover’s Atlanta and last year’s Get Out, will co-star next to Claire Foy from the TV hit series The Crown, as well as Sylvia Hoeks from the latest Blade Runner 2049 and The Square star Claes Bang, who will be playing the villain.

So far production looks to begin in January between both Berlin as well as Stockholm and Fede Alvarez (Don’t Breathe) will also be directing  The Girl in the Spider’s Web.

The crime drama this is set to be released in theaters on October 19, 2018.
