Amazon and Cohen Media Group Pick Up Cannes Drama ‘The Salesman’

Amazon Studios and Cohen Media Group bought the domestic rights to The Salesman by Asghar Farhadi, the Oscar-nominated writer and director of A Separation.

His latest feature, The Salesman, stars a young couple whose relationship begins to deteriorate during their performance of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. Farhadi has successful past with the Cannes Film Festival, including his last film, The Past, competing for the 2013 Palme d’Or.

No release dates have been announced for North America.
