A new trailer for Street Fighter (2026) was released today, highlighting the relationship between Ryu and Ken. Ken, portrayed by Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), is shown flying across a wet, dark alley, followed by Ryu, portrayed by Andrew Koji (Bullet Train), telling him, “Brother, I failed you. There was darkness growing in me.” Clips of them fighting in the same dark alley follow after, with Ken telling Ryu, ” I am not your brother.”
The sequence ends with Ryu charging up his move, “Hadouken”, a move his character makes in the game series, to release on Ken. The rest of the trailer sets up the plot of the movie. Ryu is a retired fighter and is visited by Chun Lee, played by Callina Liang (Presence), telling him that Ken is in danger. Ken is shown fighting other street fighter characters well as explaining how he has always been in Ryu’s shadow. Chun Lee can be heard talking to Ryu, telling him that if he wants to save his brother, he must fight again. A fight between Ryu and E. Honda, played by professional Japanese wrestler Hirooki Goto, is shown. The fight makes references to the moves they use in the game and ends with Ryu winning the fight. Cody Rhodes (WWE), 50 Cent (Power), Eric Andre (The Eric Andre Show), as well as Roman Reigns (WWE) make an appearance in the trailer, giving a glimpse of what to expect from their characters.
