The latest trailer for the sci-fi action thriller, based on the latest virtual reality craze, is giving audiences a look into the dream-like effects of Ready Player One. The film plays with the notion of competition between gamers, this time giving them an incredibly tempting real-life stake: an Easter egg from the game’s newly-deceased creator, entitling its locater to all of his vast riches.
From Steven Spielberg, the same great creative mind behind E.T. and Jurassic Park, and in true tradition of his work, Ready Player One is sure to not disappoint as the film takes you on epic journey without ever having to leave your chair. The film stars a collaboration of actors including Shaun of The Dead‘s Simon Pegg, Dunkirk‘s Mark Rylance, and Deadpool‘s T.J Miller, as well as Gifted’s rising star McKenna Grace, Ouija‘s Olivia Cooke and Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright. X-Men: Apocalypse’s Tye Sheridan will play the protagonist of the film.
Ready Player One will be coming to theaters on March 29, 2017.
