2017 Razzie Awards: ‘Batman v Superman’ and ‘Hillary’s America’ Named Worst of the Worst

The annual tradition of the throwing tomatoes at the year’s worst in cinema the day before celebrating the year’s best continues as the Golden Raspberry Awards (nicknamed the Razzies) threw some shade at the slime that entered multiplexes in 2016. Two targets dominated the festivities – Zack Snyder’s critically derided Batman v Superman earned four prizes, yet the top of the ticket went in a decidedly more political direction as the smear doc Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party was named Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actor and Worst Actress.
