What’s Next For Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg?

After the success of their raunchy comedy Neighbors, everyone wants to know what’s next for filmmakers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Neighbors was the most recent film in a decade of dominance for Rogen and Goldberg in the R-rated comedy field, and the jokes just keep on coming.

At this weekend’s Produced By conference in Los Angeles, Deadline reports that the duo mentioned there is a possible Neighbors sequel in the works, although it is far from a done deal. More serious efforts are currently being put into the project Jazz Cops. The film sees Rogen and fellow funnyman Kevin Hart teaming up on screen as 1950’s policeman trying to go undercover in the jazz scene.

Rogen and Goldberg co-directed The Interview, which is the second feature they directed together (This Is The End was the first). The film is in post-production and features James Franco and Rogen as a talk show host and producer who set up an interview with Kim Jong-un, but are later asked by the CIA to assassinate the dictator. The film will hit theaters on October 10.

In addition to the aforementioned projects, Rogen and Goldberg are in pre-production on their Christmas comedy with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and director Jonathan Levine, and are recording voices for the animated film Sausage Party.

Here’s to many more years of side splitting comedies from Rogen and Goldberg.
